Formagator is a free tool for filling and signing PDF forms in your browser — without printing, without a watermark, and without an account for your first form.
Why we built it
Filling a PDF should be the easiest thing in the world, yet the everyday reality is print-and-scan, or free tools that upload your document, stamp it with a watermark, or ask for a subscription right before you download. We thought a form-filler should simply fill forms — cleanly, privately, and for free. So we built one.
How it works
Everything happens on your device. When you open a PDF, Formagator reads the page layout — lines, boxes and cells — and, for scanned pages, uses on-device text recognition to place fields in the right spots. You type, sign if you need to, and download a flattened PDF. Your file is never uploaded to a server; it only leaves your browser if you sign in and explicitly choose to save it.

- Privacy by design. Filling and detection run in your browser, so sensitive documents stay with you.
- Every form, every language. Flat forms, scanned forms, and right-to-left scripts like Hebrew and Arabic.
